The mission of the Coney Island Prep Public Charter School is to prepare students to succeed in the college and career of their choice. With enthusiastic students, engaged families, and committed teachers, Coney Island Prep has demonstrated incredible academic achievement in a very short period of time. From a financial perspective, however, we unfortunately face fiscal challenges. Charter schools in New York receive a per-pupil allotment from the state government that is below our operating costs. In addition, this per-pupil allocation does not include money for facilities. To maintain the highest quality education program possible, we rely on generous support from the community to close the gap.

The Annual Giving Fund is Coney Island Prep’s most important method of fundraising to fill this shortfall. Your participation in this campaign is critical to the support of all our programs and helps to cover the difference between State funding and the actual cost of a high-ranking, academically rigorous program. With your help, we can make a difference in many children’s lives. All donations are 100% tax deductible. Be sure to find out if your Employer matches your charitable contribution. Make a Matching Gift

You may be able to double or even triple your gift to Coney Island Prep through your company's matching gift program. By joining the PRIDE Sustainer’s Circle, Coney Island Prep’s monthly giving program, you will contribute an ongoing, monthly gift of support. Your support is vital to covering the difference between what the state provides and the actual cost of a high-quality education for our scholars.
